Mama Bird’s Strawberry Pie
So yummy, so easy.
Crust
- 1 cup flour
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup melted butter
Filling
- 3 tbsp corn starch
- 1/2 pkg strawberry jello
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 2 cups sliced strawberries

Combine crust ingredients, pat into pie pan.

Bake @ 350 for 12-14 minutes

Mix filling ingredients (except the fresh strawberries) in pot on the stove.

Boil until the filling starts to thicken (it won’t be extremely thick)

Let filling cool and then add in sliced strawberries.

Pour filling into crust, refrigerate before serving.

Top with cool whip.
