In today’s culture, there is such a push to focus on self care and to constantly be in what I call “personal growth mode.” You have what seem like endless books, retreats and courses available to you, all focused on growing yourself. While it’s important to set goals for your life, your health and your business, these kinds of goals are usually just temporary stepping stones to get you to the next best thing.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The most rewarding kind of growth, one that lasts far longer than a lifetime, is spiritual growth.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

You can invest your time and energy in getting to know creation (yourself) better, or you could put that effort into getting to know the Creator. When you focus on God and how He can develop you, you will grow in ways far beyond your own abilities.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

When you start thinking about your energy, your goals and your family with eternity in mind, you will stop seeking the fleeting happiness that lies in personal ambition, and you will find everlasting joy and hope in Christ.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
